The beauty of this is that to Liberals, a quote from the Bible might as well be written in invisible ink.

Now that someone at HuffyPo actually looked it up they've gotten their knickers in a knot.

They are suggesting that "Christians are calling for the assassination of Obama".

Wait, who was it that openly supported and even offered to assassinate GWB?

The Libs.

Who even made a movie, wrote vitriolic articles, and went on every TV program imaginable to support that idea?

The Libs.

So, the shoe's on the other foot. Except for one thing. We (conservatives) aren't insane like you. What scares a Lib is that there might be someone out there more nuts and hateful than they are.

Rest assured, dear Libs, there are none. Except for your pals in Al-Queada.

If you read the entire scripture, which is like Kryptonite to a Lib, it is David's prayer for the Lord to confound his enemies. He is asking for the Lord to help him out.

Since Libs don't believe in god, then Jimmy O'bama will do just fine. Or, in a worst case scenario, the god they worship being Jimmy O'bama himself would be asked to commit suicide.

But we all know that with rationed health care, nobody will be asked to do that until they're over 65. Your messiah still has plenty of time .

The Army as an institution has been neutered by decades of political correctness and the leaders in Hassan's chain-of-command failed to act accordingly out of fear of being labeled anti-Muslim and receiving a negative evaluation report. The counter-terrorism agencies knew this guy was communicating with Al-Qaeda and dismissed it as academic research instead of delving deeper into the probability that a terrorist had infiltrated the ranks.

Even four hours after Hassan stood on a desk yelling Allahu Akbar and opened fire, the FBI stated that they were not investigating the attack as an act of terrorism even as there were still reports of other gunmen on the loose. Meanwhile the Army continues to dismiss it as a "tragedy" and an "isolated incident by a lone gunman" while the media has invented the psychological condition of post-traumatic stress disorder by proxy. There is more concern for promoting the appropriate information operation campaign and maintaining the illusion of safety than there is for actually exposing the weaknesses and faults in the system that allowed this to happen....

Hassan's radical ideology grew to the point that he committed mass murder because too many leaders were too afraid to lead out of fear harming their career or the image of the Army. If those leaders don't have the intestinal fortitude, moral conviction or personal courage to do stand up, speak up and protect soldiers, then retire, resign or get out of the way and let somebody else do it for you.”

Story line reads:
After years of corruption and a troubled past with law enforcement, Senator Barney Frank (Republican-NY) has been forced to step down, "For the good of the Country".
Starting with an arrest in the early 90's, when Frank's homosexual lover was running a gay prostitution ring out of their domicile in NY, to running a drug ring in Maine that included growing and harvesting crops of marijuana, Frank's police record reads like a two-bit felon.

Add to that the years of wildly unethical behavior as a US Senator, including taking massive bribes, using financial institutions that he was instrumental in regulating for his own personal gain, and blocking investigations that would reveal such.

All in all, Senator Frank has disgraced the honorable position in the US Senate that he held for long enough.

Crossing Borders

Let me see if I understand all this...

If you cross the North Korean border illegally you get 12 years hard labor.

If you cross the Iranian border illegally you are detained indefinitely.

Now, more than at any other time in anyone's memory, the federal government is in no position to waste taxpayer dollars on gun control advocacy "research." Nevertheless, the National Institutes of Health recently gave anti-gun researchers at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine $639,586 to conduct a survey intended to prove that possessing a gun doesn't benefit assault victims.

Criminologist Gary Kleck calls the resulting survey "the very epitome of junk science in the guns-and-violence field—poor quality research designed to arrive at an ideologically predetermined conclusion."

Here's how it was done. The Pennsylvania researchers surveyed only those assault victims who were shot, limited in the last six months of the survey to victims who were fatally shot. It did not consider the far more numerous gun owners who used guns for self-defense successfully without being shot, nor crimes that were not even attempted because the criminals feared that prospective victims might be armed.

The survey was further limited to residents of urban Philadelphia who, according to the research, "were significantly more often Hispanic, more frequently working in high-risk occupations, less educated, and had a greater frequency of prior arrest," compared to the rest of the population. Victims who were shot in Philly, but who were not from Philly, were excluded too. The survey considered a victim to be "armed" even if his gun was "in a nearby vehicle, or in another place."

As Kleck says, "none of the evidence presented by the authors actually has any relevance to the issue of the effectiveness of defensive gun use, for the simple reason that at no point do they ever compare crime victims who used guns defensively with victims who did not." Kleck notes that other published research "reached precisely the opposite conclusions" reached by the NIH-funded survey.
What Kleck had in mind were the results of the federal government's annual National Crime Victimization Survey, covering tens of thousands of assaults. Kleck and others have reviewed those surveys and found that people who use guns to defend against assaults are less likely to be injured than people who use other means, or no means, of protection.
