It should be observed that the Government is a 100% failure in UNCONSTITUTIONAL programs (excepting the Post Office, which has become UnCon by raising rates arbitrarily). National Defense (and treaties) is the only Constitutional use of governmental authority, and it works 100% when Congress stays out of the way. That is the reason the Post Office is a failure to begin with.

When (the real) Joe Wilson shouted out, "You Lie". He was historically, factually, and morally (not Secular-moral, I mean Christian-moral) correct. And justified.

Anyway, here's a good email that the uberLiberal MediaMatters.com has lamely tried to contest:

The U.S. Post Service was established in 1775 - they've had 234 years to get it right; it is broke, and even though heavily subsidized, it is not able to compete with private sector FedEx and UPS services.

Social Security was established in 1935 - they've had 74 years to get it right; it is broke.

Fannie Mae was established in 1938 - they've had 71 years to get it right; it is broke. Freddie Mac was established in 1970 - they've had 39 years to get it right; it is broke. Together Fannie and Freddie have now led the entire world into the worst economic collapse in 80 years.

The War on Poverty was started in 1964 - they've had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our hard earned money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor"; it hasn't worked.

Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965 - they've had 44 years to get it right; they are both broke; and now our government dares to mention them as models for all US health care.

AMTRAK was established in 1970 - they've had 39 years to get it right; last year they bailed it out as it continues to run at a loss!

This year, a trillion dollars was committed in the massive political payoff called the Stimulus Bill of 2009; it shows NO sign of working; it's been used to increase the size of governments across America, and raise government salaries while the rest of us suffer from economic hardships. It has yet to create a single new private sector job. Our national debt projections (approaching $10 trillion) have increased 400% in the last six months.

"Cash for Clunkers" was established in 2009 and went broke in 2009 - - after 80% of the cars purchased turned out to be produced by foreign companies, and dealers nationwide are buried under bureaucratic paperwork demanded by a government that is not yet paying them what was promised.

So with a perfect 100% failure rate and a record that proves that each and every "service" shoved down our throats by an over-reaching government turns into disaster, how could any informed American trust our government to run or even set policies for America's health care system - - 17% of our economy?

Maybe each of us has a personal responsibility to let others in on this brilliant record before 2010, and then help remove from office those who are voting to destroy capitalism and destroy our grandchildren's future.

This is no joke, Europe is in a free fall. By 2020, The National Intelligence Council estimates that major population declines of native Europeans will be supplanted by a huge increase of Muslim Youth; unemployed, unemployable, and extremest. The imposition of Sharia Law is already occurring in Brittan, Germany, France, and about a dozen smaller countries that constitute the EU. The EU is a laughably ineffective group of elitists who think that the way to counter terrorism is an abundance of nouns.

What struck me was this comment from a doctor in the UK:

"In 1984 I went onto a ward in a hospital to look after the elderly. I went into a side ward to look after a patient. She was an elderly patient who had suffered a stroke. As part of my care I gave her a drink of water. I was called to the Sisters office and told I was not to go to that patient again because she was to be left to die. She could be turned and given other care but no food and no fliuds. She took 14 days to die. I am now 71, and I will never forget this lady and the way she sucked at the toothbrush to get fluid."

When US aid was lavished on war-torn Europe, England wasted most of their funds on socialism. The socialization of medicine was at first a hit there. Euthanasia was a big hit in Europe as well. The Nazis enjoyed it immensely. The further removed from Christianity a country becomes, the less valuable our elderly and children become.

Daughter claims father wrongly placed on controversial NHS end of life scheme

The daughter of a stroke victim claims that her father is to be wrongly placed on an NHS scheme for the terminally ill which experts say is causing some patients to die too soon.

Basically, the guy has a stroke and is locked up in the hospital with no food or drink, but plenty of morphine, and left to die.

The scheme encourages doctors and other health care staff to consider removing medication, fluids and other treatments that no longer benefit the patient.

Eating someone else's food, that no longer benefits you, since you are deemed 'unworthy' to continue wasting limited resources, is right out of the Human Secularist playbook.
Some healthcare system, eh?

The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some exercises and then took little Justin aside to ask him,

'Is that really true about your father?'
